My Nigerian story...
A decade ago, on a Friday evening here in Taraba, Nigeria, my journey into the world of blogging began.
At 13, I was walking around the neighborhood and bumped into an old friend (and mentor), Job Benedict, who was into blogging at the time.
His infectious excitement got my attention, and to my amazement, he had just cashed out $60.00 from Google AdSense.
That was a lot of money converted to Nigerian Naira at the time! It still is.
The revelation that someone in a rural area like Jalingo, Taraba state, Nigeria, in 2012, could earn in USD simply by utilizing a computer was amazing.
Unfamiliar with a blog, I eagerly asked Ben, "What is a blog?"
He explained that a blog was a platform where one could earn through Google AdSense.
Driven by curiosity, I continued asking Ben;
"What is Google AdSense"
"How can I get started too?"
Ben enlightened me describing it as a platform connecting with a blog to display adverts and generate income in USD.
I was determined to embark on this journey.
"How do I get started?"
His simple advice was, "Google it out, Simon"
Motivated by my friend and mentor, Ben, I decided to go into blogging.
The next day, I quickly created my first blog—a free platform running on Blogger BlogSpot.
This was a moment that has since shaped my online presence and aspirations.

About 4 years ago (during the pandemic), I wanted to grow my traffic, and leads and eventually sell a book from my blog.

I wrote and published SUPER detailed and engaging blog content each week.
The results?
Within 6 to 8 weeks, I had published 12 blog posts.
Every blog post had a minimum of 2,000 words. One article was a 10,000-word resource guide while a few posts were around the 3,000-word mark.
