How to increase traffic to any blog in 2025?

increase website traffic
40,000 clicks from Google alone in 28 days for my SEO Client

How do you attract 10000 visitors monthly to your website?

Let me walk you through the step-by-step process I used to increase website traffic and get it to 10,000+ organic blog visitors in weeks.

This strategy works for start-ups, content creators, blogs, and agencies looking to grow search rankings and traffic.

My name is Simon Zaku and over the years, I have published dozens of blog content (on my blog & clients' websites) that have collectively attracted over 3 million visits from organic searches.

What’s this unique strategy to increase blog traffic?

I call it the "OSISR" technique.

What is the OSISR technique to attract and increase website traffic?

What is the OSISR Promotion Technique?

OSISR blog traffic technique stands for 'Outbound links', 'Similar Post Sharers', 'Influencers', 'Social Media Scheduling', and 'Reach Community Networks'.

How effective is this OSISR blog traffic technique?

I’ve used this same OSISR technique to get 20,000 visits to my first blog post which did over 1,000 social shares within 7 days of publishing.

The "OSISR" Blog Promotion Strategy: Increase Website Traffic Visitors to 10k/Month

Here’s what the "OSISR" website traffic technique stands for:

  • O - Outbound links.

  • S - Similar post sharers.

  • I - Influencers.

  • S - Social media scheduling.

  • R - Reach Community Networks.

Every step in this unique blog traffic technique will focus on achieving a specific goal for every content you promote.

OSISR Step 1: The First Letter 'O' Stands for "Outbound Links".

The first step in the OSISR technique is “O” which represents ‘Outbound Links’.

Unlike what most blogs and experts still teach about outbound links, I use this strategy to get similar content creators and social media influencers in my industry to read my content.

If I can get industry experts, content creators, and similar businesses to read my content, they may share it with their followers.

Content creators and social media influencers usually have at least a small audience under their name.

Blog content creators get more than enough emails daily to check one content piece or the other, don’t add to that mess.

Think of something different yet unique. This increases your website traffic through blogging. Something creative that gets them to share your posts fast.

It’s Outbound Links.

I link to useful blogs, resources, YouTube videos, or credible websites and add value to my target traffic.

I then send them an email with the link asking them to check it out and if they like it, a tweet would mean the world (literally :).

Why's this website traffic hack effective?

The emails won’t ask these social media influencers for social shares or any favors.

Instead, ask for their honest opinion on a particular article you linked to them.

There are 3 steps to doing this;

  1. Write your website's blog post.

  2. Find 10 to 20 organic keywords or phrases (depending on blog post length) suitable for outbound links that add genuine value.

  3. Use social networks (I use Pinterest and search engines) to find content pieces for each keyword or phrase sourced in step 2 and link to them.

Strategically select keywords and phrases for outbound links within the (unpublished) blog post.

For 2000 to 3500-word blog articles, I select between 10 to 20 keywords to add links.

The longer your blog article, the more outbound links it can have.

Pick a number that averages and spreads out within the article naturally.

Don’t add 20 outbound links to a 1000-word blog article, that will hurt your website's SEO.

Pick organic keywords and phrases that add value to your website visitors.

OSISR Step 2: The Second Letter 'S' Stands for "Similar Posts Shares".

The second step in this OSISR Website Traffic technique is the “S” which stands for ‘Similar Posts Sharers’.

This technique promotes your website content to your target readers through reachouts (emails, DMs...).

This is where you do the most reachouts. It’s one of the best ways to attract your target readers directly.

I find people who’ve read and shared blog posts similar to mine. I email them to check mine.

Show the readers the value of the blog post you’re reaching out to them. These could be influencers as well.

I find and follow them on social media networks in exchange for sharing their opinions about my website content piece.

Let’s try this;

Let's assume I want to write a blog post on my blog. I chose the topic of getting blog traffic from Pinterest.

Let's check this:

Google search “how to get blog traffic from Pinterest”.

get blog traffic

That’s 156,000,000 search results on the topic I want to write about. This also means tens of thousands of people have shared it on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, etc.

Use buzzsumo.com to find similar post sharers (offers a free trial).

You only need to email around 20-150 people depending on the type of posts you publish.

Why is this website traffic effective?

You will reach out to your target audience but build solid relationships with people and social media influencers in your market.

Here's a 3-Step Approach;

  1. Find 3-5 high-performing links on the blog or website content topic you published on.

  2. Use NinjaOutreach or buzzsumo to extract social media sharers. This tool helps you scrape the sharers of any website links.

  3. Find their email addresses or contact pages and begin building relationships.

OSISR Step 3: The Third Letter 'I' Stands for "Influencers".

The “I” in this OSISR Traffic technique stands for “Influencers” which is probably one of my favorite marketing techniques for new and professional bloggers.

Influencers will help you reach a bigger audience and increase your website traffic quickly.

This is why I love expert roundup blog posts.

Leveraging social media influencers can increase website traffic to 10,000 or more visitors. Influencers can also improve your SEO rankings pretty quickly.

OSISR Step 4: The Fourth Letter, and Second 'S' Stands for "Schedule Social Media Content".

Social media scheduling is yet another powerful content marketing approach. Social networks have evolved over the past decade and a lot has changed for marketers and businesses.

This helps increase the lifespan of your site blog posts and get them running on your social media feeds on auto-pilot.

Social media scheduling will keep your website content in the loop on social media. Tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, Uniclix, or MeetEdgar are good at this.

OSISR Step 5: The First Letter 'R' Stands for "Reach Community Networks".

The final website promotion technique to promote a blog post and increase website traffic is the “R” which stands for ‘Reach Community Networks’.

Have a list of different communities, networks, and directories to submit each blog content.

Also, a site's blog post may need a little Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn ad boost to pick up the pace and increase exposure.

The next powerful platform to help increase website traffic is Quora.com.

A single Quora answer could generate 1000s of views hence 100s of clicks to your blog post.
